DRUG Taskforce detectives arrested five men this morning and seized more than 200 cannibis plants and luxury vehicles, following a five-month-long investigation.
Operation Taxa investigators executed search warrants at six properties in Melton, Hillside, Strathmerton and Sydenham around 6am.
Special Operations Group members assisted in the arrest of two men, aged 32 and 35, at two Hillside addresses.
The pair, and three other man, aged 77, 45 and 32 are assisting police with their enquiries.
More than 200 mature cannabis plants were also located at a Melton Valley Drive factory in Melton and a Strathmerton rural property.
Detectives also seized several properties and three luxury vehicles including a Maserati, BMW and Harley Davidson motorcycle – from an Austral Drive, Hillside, residence as part of their investigation.
