Smarter tourism for Moorabool

THE latest edition of the ‘365 Days in Moorabool‘ tourism guide was released last week, boasting a few new digital tricks.

Providing a comprehensive list of local events, the 2013 guide contains 60 different annual festivals and regular events.

Ten-thousand copies of the brochure will be distributed across the shire, the Central Highlands region and metropolitan Melbourne.

This year’s guide includes an interactive QR (quick response) code, which can be scanned by smartphones to open up more event information online.

The brochure is available from volunteers like Mary Hine (pictured) at the Bacchus Marsh Visitor Information Centre or at visitmoorabool.com.au
