CHILDREN living with cancer, like Summah and Gabby (pictured), had the chance to experience speed boating and waterskiing at Melton Weir as part of a new summer camp.
Cancer charity Challenge recently wrapped up its first summer camp, offering new experiences for 16 children from across the western suburbs.
Melbourne Runabout and Speedboat Club registrar Ray Gusman said it was great to see the children enjoying a fun day on the water.
“We take pride in providing a bit of relief for children who’ve fallen on hard times, such as those with a serious illness.”
