The Thoroughbreds’ under-14 boys won the division 2 final against Mildura Heat 50-38.

Amarion Aning top-scored for the Thoroughbreds with 13 points in the decider, capping off a good tournament in which he scored double figures in several games. Zac Dransman and Reece McGrath also scored double figures in the grand final.

The Thoroughbreds won seven of their nine matches on the way to the title.

The under-14 girls side made the quarter-finals in division 3 before losing in overtime to the Warrugal Warriors.
