Rockbank is in the box seat to claim the sixth and last finals spot in the Riddell District Netball League.
The Rams and Riddell are the two teams remaining in the contention to finish sixth, with the Rams sitting two points ahead heading into the final round.
Both teams have tough ask ahead of them on Saturday, with the Rams facing top side Rupertswood, while Riddell plays Romsey.
Rockbank coach Nathan Selvidge said it would be a massive achievement if his side was to make finals for a second straight year.
Selvidge only took over as coach weeks out from the season beginning, leaving him a short period of time to put a team together.
“What ever happens this weekend, I’m very proud of the girls this year,” he said.
“Especially after the start of season, to make finals would be a big effort.
“The aim was to sneak into finals.
“We’ve put some really good games together in the last few weeks and played some good netball.”
The Rams moved into the top six on Saturday after defeating Melton Centrals.
Selvidge said it was a slow start to the 42-34 win.
“We started off a bit slow and were down by four goals,” he said.
“We got back and were able to sneak ahead at quarter time.
“We picked it up in the second and third quarters.”
Selvidge having worked hard the first three quarters, the Rams ran out of legs in the last quarter.
“We put it all into the first three quarters and started to tire towards the end.”
Isabelle Maguire shot 23 goals from 24 attempts, while Rianne Vining shot 19 goals.
Jacinta Fuzy was named the Rams best.
For Centrals, Rebecca Morabito, in game 150, and Rita White-Kay shot 14 goals apiece.
Selvidge said this week they would just worry about their game against Rupertswood, and not focus on what Riddell is doing.
He said it was about continuing the good form that they have found in recent weeks.
“We’ll try our best and beat Rupertswood,” he said.
“We’d love to have a good week against them and build to a possible finals spot.”
Diggers Rest will finish the regular season in fifth.
On Saturday, the Burras beat Woodend-Hesket, 68-32.
Kathy Dicker shot 47 goals for the Burras and was named best on court.
