Diggers Rest has come from behind to pull off a stunning win against Rupertswood in the Riddell District Football League.
After losing three of their last four games, the Burras were in desperate need of a win against the Sharks, who were equal on points.
The Sharks started the better of the two teams, kicking five goals to one in the first quarter.
The Burras though worked their way into the game and were only trailing by five points at the final change.
The Burras kicked the only four goals of the last quarter, to run away with the 9.8 (62)-6.6 (42) win.
After kicking five goals in the first quarter, the Sharks were restricted to just one for the rest of the game.
James McMahon and Deven Costigan kicked two goals each for the Burras with Stuart Clarke and Steven Fogarty named their best.
The win moves Diggers Rest up to fourth, only percentage behind second.
In other matches, it was a tough day for Melton Centrals and Rockbank.
Facing second placed Wallan, Centrals were blown away after quarter time.
Centrals were restricted to just two goals after the first break, as a dominant Wallan won 15.19 (109)-3.6 (24).
Rockbank showed some good signs at times during its loss to Broadford, 14.16 (100)-3.4 (22). After being down by 50 points at half-time, the Rams won the third quarter, before the Kangaroos found another level in the last quarter.
This weekend the Rams will celebrate their 100th anniversary as the side takes on Lancefield.
