Tran Truong and her Melton Centrals teammates had a difficult time in the Riddell District Netball League on Saturday.
Centrals went down 45-22 to Riddell, with Christine Harris shooting a game-high 27 goals for the winners.
Centrals’ leading scorer was Shelby Brady with 12, while Monika Dimovski finished with 10.
The result leaves Centrals in a fight with Diggers Rest for a finals berth.
The two teams are locked on 50 points with Melton marginally ahead on percentage.
The Centrals will look to bounce back this weekend when they take on ninth-placed Woodend-Hesket.
