Caroline Springs look to continue unbeaten run

Caroline Springs Geroge Cross will attempt to maintain its unbeaten run when it hosts fourth placed Brimbank Stallions at City Vista on Saturday in the Men’s State League 1 North-West.

George Cross is five points clear on top of the ladder while the Stallions have recorded three wins, a draw and loss so far this season.

The match begins at 5pm with lots to play for and the chance to be promoted to the NPL competition if either teams finish the season in the top two.

In other matches,Yarraville will be able to jump over Keilor Park in the State League 1 North-West ladder if it is able to pick up a win this Saturday.

Yarraville currently sit in seventh position with two wins, a draw and two losses.

With both teams coming off strong wins last week, 2-0 win for Yarraville and a 7-1 win for Keilor Park, this game is set to be intense with both teams looking to continue their winning form.

Sixth placed Altona City will host second placed Essendon Royals on Saturday beginning from 6pm.
