Bacchus Marsh made it two wins in two rounds in Gisborne and District Cricket Association McIntyre Cup.
After wet conditions last week, Bacchus Marsh was greeted by sunshine at Woodend on Saturday.
Woodend decided to bat first, making 9-128 from its 40 overs.
The Bulls shared the wickets, with Brenton Payne and Rhys Watson taking two wickets each.
In reply, the Bulls easily chased down the runs, making 4-129. Tom McColl top-scored with 43.
The win leaves the Bulls in third position on the ladder.
Elsewhere for the Bulls, Bruce Thomas played his 300th game for the club in a standalone G-grade match on Sunday against Sunbury United in front of the Bulls’ faithful. The B-grade side lost to Sunbury United.
In other McIntyre Cup results, Diggers Rest Bulla suffered a shock defeat at the hands of Sunbury.
Sunbury made 146, with four players taking two wickets each for the Burras.
In reply, Sunbury fell nine runs short, finishing its overs at 8-138.
Michael Sammut top-scored for the Burras with 36.
In B grade, St Anthonys lost its first match of the season, going down to Wallan on Saturday.
Wallan made 154 batting first. That was too much for St Anthonys, which was bowled out for 123.
In the C grade, Blackwood lost to Sunbury United.
United chased down Blackwood’s total of 6-192 with two overs remaining.
