The Lions got off to a slow start, with the Bloods leading 13-11 at quarter-time. That got the Lions going – they responded with a 26-5 goal second quarter.
After the main break, the Lions restricted the Bloods to just 10 goals while nailing 41 of their own for a final scoreline of 78-28.
Chloe Curran shot 44 goals for the Lions, with Lauren Gilchrist best-on-court at wing defence.
