NWMCA: Sydenham Hillside can’t hold Buckley Park back

Sydenham Hillside was unable to defend its big first innings total against Buckley Park in North West Metropolitan Cricket Association on Saturday.

After making 235 on day one of its final-round contest, Sydenham Hillside returned to Buckley Park hunting quick wickets but was met with stiff opposition. Eight of the 10 Buckley Park batsmen used made it to double figures, Robbie Bullock top-scoring with 57.

Buckley Park reached the total for the loss of eight wickets. Sydenham Hillside takes on Kealba Green Gully in the semi-finals this weekend.
