Twelve teams fought their way to premierships when the Melton Basketball Association held its junior grand finals recently.
Milan Savic (with ball) and his Hawks teammates had no trouble taking out the boys under-14 A division title with a 59-40 win over the Spartans.
The two clubs were among the most successful in all age groups, winning six championships between them, while the Falcon Rebels won three junior premierships. \
The results capped off a strong season for the Melton Basketball Association, which has expanded from three courts to five and is on the lookout for new members.
