Melton’s good run of form in the state league 4 soccer competition came to an end last week with a 4-0 thrashing by Point Cook.
Phoenix had no answers to a hat-trick by Joseph Spiteri and a goal by Emilio Lucanera.
The loss, Melton’s seventh of the season, leaves the club in fourth spot on the table. Point Cook is in sixth. Melton plays Melbourne City this week.
