It was a disappointing weekend for Darley Cricket Club, with all five senior teams recording losses in the final round before finals.
The first XI was never in the hunt against Mt Clear, eventually bowled out for 148 in pursuit of 289.
The second XI failed to defend its 9-275 from last week, with Mt Clear getting the runs in the 70th over.
The two’s can at least console themselves with a spot in this weekend’s semi-finals, in which they take on East Ballarat.
Darley’s other three senior sides all failed to chase down big totals.
