FFV: Jason Moody second in state league 5 count

Melton may have won state league 5, but there would be no individual gong to go with promotion and the title when Football Federation Victoria released its list of best-and-fairest winners last week.

Jason Moody finished equal second in the state league 5 west count with 19 votes.

Point Cook’s former Socceroo Joe Spiteri was the runaway winner with 28.

Elise Muller finished three votes off the pace in Melton’s women in state league 3 west, but her 18 votes were only good enough for fifth. Keilor Wolves’ Isabella Dimoska won with 21 votes.
