Melton wins rugby union premiership

Melton is celebrating its second premiership in three years after winning Rugby Victoria’s second division B grade.

Melton triumphed 32-27 against Northern Rugby Club in the match at Sparks Reserve, Box Hill.

Andy McKendry coached the Melton team to victory this season. Melton won the division in 2011 but suffered a season of struggle in 2012 after being promoted up a division.
