FFV: Melton looking good for title

Melton moved closer to sealing the FFV state league 5 title after a
6-1 hiding of Melbourne Lions last Wednesday.

A Jason Moody hat-trick
and goals to Carlos Velasquez, Jason Cossai and Stephen McLelland have
Melton on the verge of clinching the division title.

Melton (50 points)
is four clear of second-placed Point Cook (46) with a game in hand.

That
game will be played tomorrow night against Melbourne Tornado (15th, 17
points) at Arndell Park Reserve

in Truganina, starting at 8.30pm.

Melton then backs up to play Altona North (seventh, 32 points) on
Saturday at Duane Reserve from 3pm.
