Big V: Melton into finals on a high

MELTON will learn its finals opponent this weekend after wrapping up its home-and-away season with a 76-54 win against Shepparton Gators on Saturday.

The minor-premier Thoroughbreds have finished, depending on this weekend’s results, at least two wins clear on top with 14 wins and four losses and could play Keysborough, Mornington or Western Port in the semi-finals.

In Youth League 2 men, Melton won 71-64 against Craigieburn and heads into the last round needing to beat Warrandyte and get favourable results in other games.
