GORDON continued its climb up the table by beating Ballan by 37 points on Saturday.
Gordon trailed by five points at half-time but burst to the lead with five unanswered third-quarter goals.
Gordon eventually won 13.20 (99) to 9.8 (62). Daniel King kicked five goals and Ash Munari was best-on-ground, while Josh Lee and Adam Turley were among the better Gordon players.
Mark Williams booted four goals four Ballan, while Jarryd Graham was best in the defeat. Gordon (7-5) is seventh on the ladder and Ballan (3-9) sits 14th.
