MELTON showed a mark of its improvement with a seven-point win against Coburg Giants in Big V division 2 on Saturday.
After losing to Coburg on home court earlier in the season, Melton extended its winning streak to seven with the 70-63 victory at Coburg Basketball Stadium.
The seven-and-four Breds are second on the ladder, ahead of Keilor Thunder and Mornington Breakers on percentage and trailing only Packenham Warriors (9-3).
Jeff Crowe (14 points) and Paul Ross (12 points) were the only two Breds in double figures on a night in which the team shared the scoring load.
