Big V: Thoroughbreds thrash Thunder

MELTON Thoroughbreds are on a winning streak after a 72-55 margin against
Keilor Thunder on Saturday night. 

The two-and-four Breds are still ninth
of 10 in Big V division two but now within two wins of second place.
Marty Pietrykowski (19 points, 14 rebounds), Jeff Crowe (14 points),
Paul Ross and Jordan Kirk (12 each) led Saturday’s win. 

Melton’s Youth
League 2 team won 67-58 against Corio Bay to stay second on the ladder
with their six-and-one record. 

Melton hosts Casey Cavaliers in a double
header on Saturday night with the youth league tipping off at 6pm and
men at 8pm.
