MELTON’S women received a forfeit from Dandenong in the final round of Essteele Premier Seconds on Sunday.
Melton’s nine-win season, 42 points, was one behind fifth-placed Brunswick Park and 10 off the finals pace of fourth-placed Essendon Maribyrnong Park (52).
Melton finished seventh of 10 in the One Day North West competition.
