A woman has been charged following a fatal car crash in Diggers Rest last year.
The 23-year-old Sydenham woman was charged with one count of culpable driving causing the death of a 22-year-old Hillside woman.
The charge relates to a crash that occurred on Plumpton Road on September 25, where it appeared the driver lost control and crashed into a power pole.
The Hillside woman was the passenger in the vehicle and died at the scene.
The charged woman will appear before Melbourne Magistrates Court on July 11.
