Western Health has officially administered one million COVID-19 vaccinations.

The organisation shared the news of the milestone achievement for the West Metro COVID-19 Vaccination Program on its social media yesterday.

In the statement posted to the Western Health Facebook page, the organisation thanked both workers and the community.

“We couldn’t be prouder of the teams at all of our hubs who have worked tirelessly these last few months to get the #JabDone,” the post said.

“We also want to congratulate everyone in the west who has rolled up their sleeves and helped us achieve this.

“Thank you for doing your bit to protect yourself and your community.”
