Greater Western Water community sponsorship applications for a new round of community sponsorship funding are closing tomorrow.
The sponsorship funding is designed to provide support for events from the heart of Melbourne to the city’s growing west and surrounding regional townships.
Greater Western Water has been open for applications for funding since October for not-for-profit events being held across the west area between January and June 2022.
Greater Western Water’s Acting General Manager Strategy and Partnerships, Leeanne Darmanin, said the funding is available for a range of activities.
“Bringing people together safely is more important than ever and we recognise the vital role that local groups and volunteers play in fostering community spirit.
We’re proud to help community groups bring their events to life, as we know the positive impact they can have in our suburbs and towns.”
