Two teens charged over Melton stabbing

Two Melton boys have been charged following the stabbing of a teenager at a Melton park on Monday night.
A 13-year-old boy has been remanded, and a 16-year-old boy bailed to appear in a children’s court at a later date.
Both have been charged with intentionally causing serious injury, and affray, assault and weapons-related offences.
The 14-year-old victim is still in the Royal Children’s Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
