A man and woman have been arrested after more than 150 kilograms of MDMA, used to make the drug ecstasy, and about 25 kilograms of ice were seized in a raid at a Plumpton property this morning.
Melton Crime Investigation Unit executed a warrant at the residential property on Versteegen Street shortly after 9am.
A man and a woman, both aged 35 from Plumpton, were arrested at the house.
They are assisting detectives with their inquiries.
Investigators said they believe today’s seizures are likely to have a marked impact on the current availability of these types of drugs in Victoria.
