Teens charged over Kurunjang home invasion

Two Melton teenagers, who were both on bail, have been charged over an aggravated burglary at a Kurunjang house on Monday night.

Police say up to six men broke into a Greenhills Drive home while the occupants were asleep about 11.30pm on May 8.

The teenagers, aged 14 and 15, have been charged with several offences, including aggravated home invasion, assault, theft and committing an indictable offence while on bail. The pair will face the Children’s Court at a later date.

An 18-year-old Melton man has been released on summons and police are looking for the other offenders.
