A teenager is fighting for his life after being hit by a truck in Melton South this morning.
Emergency services were called to the scene of a crash at Brooklyn Road, Melton South about 11am.
A teenager is in a critical condition after he was hit by a truck in Melton South just after 11am. The 16-year-old has been airlifted to the Royal Children’s Hospital with suspected head injuries. The truck driver was not injured and is assisting police. #7News pic.twitter.com/YzvKQCenIq

The boy was airlifted to the Royal Childrens Hospital, a Victoria Police spokesman said.
The truck driver is assisting police with their inquiries and was not injured
