Caroline Springs, Burnside and Burnside Heights not-for-profit groups are invited to apply for a financial grant to support their local community projects.

The 2021 Modeina Community Fund, now in its fourth year, is an initiative of the Dennis Family Corporation (DFC) – the developer of Medeina estate.

Dennis Family Group director Grant Dennis said the fund has been successful in supporting community groups each year of its run.

“The Modeina Community Fund has assisted a broad cross section of the Caroline Springs, Burnside and Burnside Heights communities to help make many programs and projects possible,” Mr Dennis said.

“We’re proud to continue to support local communities by providing financial assistance in areas where we operate our business, and our Community Fund presentation nights have become an annual highlight for us and the many not-for-profit groups that we assist.

“This year we look forward to adding even more community groups from the Melton area to our long list of deserving Community Fund recipients.”

To be considered for a grant, not-for-profit community groups must operate within the Caroline Springs, Burnside and Burnside Heights area.

Groups must also meet the eligibility criteria outlined in the application form.

An independent judging panel will assess applications, with successful applicants to be notified in late November.
