A Caroline Springs shopper has an extra spring in their step this week, after discovering they had become a millionaire in last week’s Tattslotto draw.
The shopper, who has decided to stay anonymous, was one of four division one winners in last weekend’s draw, but only checked their numbers midway through this week.
They will take home $1,128,361.37 in winnings, after also winning division three 24 times, and division four 90 times on the same entry.
The winner purchased the ticket at Caroline Springs Lotteries in Caroline Springs shopping centre.
It is the third division one win for the outlet during the past five years, and the biggest win for one of its customers – it previously sold a $1 million-winning ticket in 2015 and a prize of more than $500,000 in 2018.
Caroline Springs Lotteries owner Gino Conti said he and his team were “over the moon” by the million-dollar win.
“It’s fantastic,” he said.
“We have had a few major prize wins in the past, but we thought we were due for another one.
“We are thrilled for the winner and wish them all the best.”
