Bacchus Marsh will come alive with a flower and garden show next month.
The annual event is an opportunity for participants to flaunt their gardening, cake decorating and photographic skills and revellers to enjoy the floral wonderland.
Bacchus Marsh Flower and Garden Show chair Karen Mather said the event, which will raise money for an aquatic centre, has gone “from strength to strength” since it was first held five years ago.
“There are lots of reasons an aquatic centre is needed,” Ms Mather said. “It will be there for the community year-round, and old and young can use it all the time.”
The event will run over October 20 and 21 at the Bacchus Marsh Public Hall, 207 Main Street.
The show opens to the public at noon on October 20.
