A local orchestra is preparing for a much anticipated concert event, after the pandemic has prevented them from performing for twelve months.

The Moorabool Light Orchestra will perform ‘Gypsy Dances’, a concert featuring the music of John Williams, Johann Strauss, Leroy Anderson and more.

The concert will be held on Sunday May 22 at the Bacchus Marsh Public Hall Supper Room.

The orchestra will be joined by Melbourne guest conductor Gyula Cseszko and violin soloist Adel Kalnoki.

Mr Cseszko has previously conducted the Ballarat Symphony Orchestra, Royal Melbourne Philharmonic Orchestra, the Melbourne University Symphony Orchestra among many others.
