Students at Kurunjang Secondary College have launched a “self-service cupboard” making it easier for their fellow students to access personal hygiene items such as toothbrushes and deodorants.
The cupboard is an initiative between students and staff at the school and will be stocked with essential hygiene products as well as quick meals.
The initiative is being trialled with the school’s year 12 students, who are hoping the community will donate items to the cupboard.
Principal John Mitsinikos said the cupboard aimed to teach students about the importance of helping others.
Anyone interested in donating to the cupboard should contact 9743 9211.
