A 13-year-old boy has died after being hit by a car while skateboarding to school in Brookfield.
Paramedics were called to the incident about 8.15am.
According to Ambulance Victoria, the boy was struck by a car after coming off his skateboard.
Police said the boy was skateboarding on a quiet road and was wearing a helmet.
Five paramedics performed CPR on the boy who suffered massive head injuries but was unable to be revived. His parents are at the scene.
Police are investigating the incident.
