The Village Bacchus Marsh offered children a chance to meet some new furry friends at their school holiday animal farm.

A whole manner of barnyard critters provided by Animals 4 Ewe were on display inside the shopping centre.

Kids could get up close and personal with bunnies, goats, chickens, guinea pigs and more as a part of the centres school holiday activities .

The rabbits and guinea pigs proved to be crowd favourites, while the chickens didn’t seem quite as keen on cuddling up.

Overall for the week, getting to feed the baby goats Mini, Rusty, Ivy, and Rose was the bleating heart of the free event.

One attendee, Morfoula Anna Karadis commented on The Village’s Facebook page after the event that her grandaughter “loved it”.

“The animals seemed happy and so relaxed, one of the best we have seen,” the post said.

The petting zoo ran inside The Village Bacchus Marsh in the second week of school holidays.
