A Rockbank man has been charged with attempted murder following an alleged aggravated home invasion in Wyndham Vale in August.
The 19-year-old has been remanded in custody to appear at Melbourne Magistrates Court on February 25, 2022.
Police an incident occurred at a Ribblesdale Avenue property about 2. 20am on Sunday, August 8.
Police will allege a number of men forced their way into a home before a confrontation occurred with one of the residents.
Police alleged a 46-year-old man was shot in the upper body.
He was treated by paramedics at the scene and taken to hospital with serious injuries.
