The prince of thieves is preparing to capture children’s imaginations at Kryal Castle these school holidays.
Youngsters will be able to meet Robin Hood and watch folklore play out at Leigh Creek every day throughout December.
Arena manager Phillip Leitch said Robin, played by Paul Quartermaine, and his merry men will be taking up their bows and arrows to save Kryal Castle from their nemesis – the sheriff of Nottingham.
“Don’t miss the sheriff enticing Robin into a wager to win the hand of beautiful Maid Marion,” Mr Leitch said.
“Talent aside, the sheriff isn’t above foul play.”
As part of the program, there will also be a real-life joust between Kryal Castle’s resident knights.
Kids can try their hand at archery, explore the labyrinth, ride the giant inflatable slide, get lost in the maze and visit the wizard’s workshop.
A three-course medieval dinner will also be on offer with medieval skits and games throughout on Saturday nights.
Tickets for both the feast and the show are $65 per adult and $32.50 for children.
