Rhapsody to the power of rock

A rocking show depicting a dystopian future in which creativity has been outlawed is coming to Bacchus Marsh.

Performing Arts Headquarters’ mega-production of We Will Rock You will feature a non-stop soundtrack of 21 of Queen’s greatest hits and a 13-piece band.

It tells the story of iPlanet (formerly known as Earth) being ruled by a “sinister” corporation under the control of the “fanatical” Killer Queen. Teenagers Galileo and Scaramouche find the last musical instrument on the planet and bring back “the power” of rock.

From August 25 to September 15 at Impresario Theatre, 5 Grant Street, Bacchus Marsh. Details: 5367 6864.
