Rotary is harnessing the power of the community to raise funds for three Melton charities.
The annual charity race night at Tabcorp Park on October 20 is a highlight of Melton and Melton Valley Rotary clubs’ event calendar.
Melton foodbank, Melton youth services and Relay for Life will be the beneficiaries of this year’s fundraising efforts. Punters will be able to enjoy a night at the races, three-course dinner, auctions, raffles and entertainment.
Event organiser Brendan Richards said the event draws about 250 people.
“It’s a fun night and a good opportunity to come out and have fun while doing something worthwhile for the community,” he said.
