Jeff Mills loves providing great service, and loves his job.
That approach, and 30 years of dedication to Melton Toyota, has won him a Melton Rotary Club Pride of Workmanship award.
Mr Mills (pictured) and three other men recently received the awards, which honour their commitment to their employers.
Mr Mills is responsible for many daily duties at Melton Toyota, including setting up the workshop, sending dealer product reports, verifying customer complaints, and road-testing vehicles with customers.
He was elated to receive the award.
“Everyone likes to be told to keep up the good work. It feels good to know you’re doing the job properly,” he said.
Melton Timber & Hardware employees Alan Squires, Brad Morton, and Scott Morton also received ‘Pride’ awards.
Melton Rotary Club committee member Max Fraser said the awards had been established in 1975 by the Pennant Hills Rotary Club and been a Melton tradition for 20 years.
“The award is to encourage and recognise vocational excellence with particular regard to quality, productivity and initiative,” Mr Fraser said.
