Melton Neighbourhood Policing are to inviting the community to a free bicycle and scooter engraving day.

Come along with your bicycle or scooter to have it engraved with a Driver Licence Number or mobile number.

Engraving bicycle and scooters is a strategy to prevent theft or have items identified in case of theft.

On the day visitors will also have the opportunity to learn about bike and scooter safety, and enter the Lucky Door prize to win one of two new bike helmets donated by Melton Council.

The event will be held at the Melton Police Station on Thursday, January 19 from 9am to 3pm, then at Caroline Springs Police Station on Wednesday, January 25 from 10am to 2pm.
