Brimbank Crime Investigation Unit detectives are investigating the incident, in which it’s alleged that two unknown offenders armed with a weapon forced entry to a Corbet Street house at about 3.30am on September 11.

Police said the offenders, confronted by two of the residents, fled the scene.

The male residents, aged 20 and 22, pursued the offenders down the street and sighted a third offender allegedly acting as a lookout.

Police are looking for a male, aged in his 20s, of Caucasian appearance and of thin build and approximately 170cm tall.

The man had distinctive tattoos on his right jawline and possibly above his left eye in a script writing style.
