Police hunt men over assault

Police are hunting three men believed to be involved in an assault in Melton on September 9.

Two men were assaulted on the corner of McKenzie Street and Palmerston Street.

A mobile phone containing a bank card, health care card and driver’s licence was stolen from one of the victims.

The stolen bank card has since been used at several locations across Melton, Hoppers Crossing, and Werribee.

Melton Crime Investigation Unit detectives have released images of the men, who may be able to assist with inquiries.
