Police are looking for a man who broke into a Melton home last month, stealing power tools and a Pontiac.
The man forced his way into the garage of the Joan Street house about 10pm on Saturday, June 23, before loading a large amount of power tools into the red 1989 Pontiac Trans Am coupe and driving it away.
Police found the car 2.5 kilometres away on Reserve Road, Melton, six days later with significant damage to the ignition and dashboard, but the thief remains at large.
