Police are appealing for information after a mobile road safety camera vehicle was deliberately rammed in Parwan on Sunday.
Police said the car was stationed on Parwan-Exford Road on June 2 when another vehicle approached it from behind and deliberately rammed it about 7.45pm.
As a result, the road safety vehicle was forced about 30 metres forward into a tree, causing significant damage.
A 37-year-old Plumpton man was in the passenger seat at the time and sustained neck and knee injuries, but did not require hospitalisation.
The offending vehicle then reversed, conducted a U-turn and fled north-west along Parwan-Exford Road towards Bacchus Marsh.
Police have released dash cam footage depicting the moment the car was rammed in the hope someone may be able to provide information.
The vehicle has been described as a white 4-wheel-drive with a silver bull bar on the front and a scoop on the bonnet.
Police are appealing for anyone with information, who witnessed the incident or who may have dash cam footage to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or submit a confidential report online at www.crimestoppersvic.com.au.
