Pet care front of mind

Petbarn Caroline Springs are making sure our local furry friends are still healthy through the coronavirus crisis, with new measures to help pet owners.

Petbarn is now offering zero contact Click and Collect across all its stores, which allows customers to order products online and then collect from a local store, without needing to leave their car.

Customers will call the store on arrival and a member of staff will then place the order inside the customer’s car.

Zero contact home delivery is also available.

Petbarn chief executive George Wahby said the new measures were about ensuring pets got the food and care they need, while still complying with government virus conditions.

“The health and wellbeing of pets, pet parents as well as the safety of our teams remains our number one priority,” Mr Wahby said.

“We want to ensure that pet parents can access retail stores and pet services including grooming and veterinary services, should they need to, whilst still following official government advice and guidance to safeguard our team.

“We have introduced a number of measures to ensure customers can purchase essential items for their furry family members in a way that works for them.

“Our zero contact click and collect offering will provide peace of mind to our customers that they can look after the wellness of their pets whilst still protecting their own wellbeing.”

Mr Wahby also said there was no need to bulk buy on products such as food, with the stores well stocked.
