These pint-sized chefs loved learning some life lessons over pancakes.
The youngsters at Eclipse Early Education in Eynesbury celebrated Pancake Day, inspired by Shrove Tuesday, last week.
Centre manager Rachel Downing said the day was an opportunity to learn about the pancake tradition and gain some skills.
“We celebrate all sorts of different days,”
Ms Downing said.
“We also marked Valentine’s Day last week and we will be celebrating Chinese New Year, as well.
“Shrove Tuesday’s not just about eating pancakes – we also take the opportunity to teach them about the meaning behind it … there’s also a science behind it and a life skill to be learned in cooking.
“They had a lot of fun doing so.”
