Out and About: Lerderderg library

Star Weekly photographer Damjan Janevski visited the Lerderderg Library in Bacchus Marsh, where local families were enjoying a Bacchus Books and Beats session.

The program designed to help young children from across the Moorabool Shire engage in musical play.

Books and Beats is a free fortnightly program that is held in Ballan and Bacchus Marsh on alternating weeks.

Participants learn from local musician Jen Hawley and play with musical instruments, as well as enjoying books.

The program is held at the Ballan Library each Wednesday and Lerderderg Library each Thursday at 10am.
