Surprise star buskers are popping up around the Melton area as a part of the City of Melton Mystery Music Makers monthly event series.
There are three more free performances for residents to enjoy, with the mystery artist only being revealed at the last minute.
Previous famous faces to perform around Melton have included internationally-celebrated duo Pierce Brothers, Killing Heidi’s lead singer Ella Hooper, Powderfinger lead guitarist Darren Middleton.
The next event will be on April 24 at the Eynesbury Homestead and artist clues will be released on the Melton City Much More Facebook page.
City of Melton mayor Cr Goran Kesic said he was thrilled to see so many residents already coming along to the events.
“It’s very exciting to have musicians of this calibre perform in the City of Melton,
“We’ve already had performances from some of Australia’s best in the music industry and there
are more incredible artists on board and ready to pay us a visit for these fantastic local gigs,” mayor Cr Goran Kesic said.
“This is also a great opportunity to support the surrounding local businesses by grabbing a
coffee or a bite to eat while you’re there.”
